Where to begin
You would think as an interior stylist it would be a somewhat easy undertaking to renovate my own home. You’d be wrong.
This project is something I’ve been thinking about for 3.5 years since I bought my terrace in Sydney’s Paddington.
I’ve had a million different ideas, all of which I should have written down because I’m sure I’ve forgotten at least half of them. As a stylist I find my taste is constantly evolving and changing. I’m exposed to so much of what is new in the world of interiors that actually making a decision and choosing one style to go with is harder than you may think.
I’m used to styling sets where I can run with my creativity and do something unexpected but when it comes to my own home, and what I want to live with the decisions seem much harder to make.
I’m due to begin renovations in April 2019 so I’m starting to get things lined up. The decisions I make now I’m sure will change 15 times by the end of the project but I hope you stick with me through this journey. I will keep the updates coming.
